China Aluminum Checker Plate 3mm - SPHC Pickled DD11 Commercial use Hot Rolled Steel plate sheet for automotive deep drawing parts – Ruiyi Detail:
Hot Rolled Mill Pickled Oiled steel sheet DD11 SPHC SPHD
DD11 mill pickled & oiled, is a standard hot rolled steel used widely within the sheet metal industry. It is a popular choice due to its drawing and forming properties.
The product is DD11 in a dry form but then undergoes a further process of being pickled & oiled.
Coils are produced the same way as DD11 dry but once cooled down; coils are then unwound and passed through a pickling line. In reality this is a giant bath of hydrochloric acid that is designed to remove any oxide scale, produced via the original hot rolling process. Once the coil has been pulled through the acid bath it will go through additional processes including a rinse, dry and then lightly oiled to protect the material from oxidisation (Rusting).
The aim of this process is to create a clean surface finish to the product making it a much more user-friendly product for the laser cutting market.
